Trustee & Board of Directors Recruitment 2017

The Chelsea Physic Garden is looking for new Trustees to join the Board and new Directors to join the Board of its trading subsidiary, CPG Enterprises Ltd and  is inviting applications from interested and suitably experienced candidates.

The Chelsea Physic Garden was originally established in 1673 by the Society of Apothecaries for training its apprentices in plant identification. Over the centuries the Garden has evolved and now, as a registered charity, it is both a public visitor attraction and a horticultural institution, with a unique scientific, horticultural and educational heritage on which to draw.  The Garden provides over 50,000 visitors a year with formal and informal educational opportunities on the importance of plants and environmental conservation.

The Chelsea Physic Garden seeks to provide an informative, enjoyable and accessible visitor experience and to maintain and enhance the presentation of and access to the Garden’s static and living collections. We are continually looking at ways to improve the visitor experience and reach wider audiences.
