A new addition to our 2017 programme, these tasters will give you the chance to try out a new hobby or a creative skill after work.

A brief talk about the history of flax and linen with the opportunity to spin fibres to create your own twine. Then decorate your own packet of flax seeds to take home using the cyanotype process.

Zoë Burt is a textile artist and Kate Poland is the co-founder of Cordwainer’s Community Garden in Hackney. They both worked together on the Seeds of Fashion project, in which they grew and produced a garment from start to finish.

Ticket price includes a glass of wine and nibbles plus all materials will be provided.
