Pulp Fiction: Paper-making, Paper Stixx, Wonderful Wire & more
We welcome the return of this popular activity run by artist, inventor and designer Darcy Turner. A great opportunity to have a go at making wonderful sculptures to take home, discover hidden talents and see paper, metal and wire in new ways.
In this video clip, Darcy Turner shows you how you can make a paper chair quite simply:

In the following clip Darcy shows you some of the wonderful wire techniques you can try at the event too:

Also, there’ll be the chance to meet the lovely and innovative environmental educators ecoACTIVE and have a go at:

  • Making gift bags from newspapers and magazines or old wrapping paper
  • Create necklaces and bracelets from magazines
  • Try recycled paper/paper making (this activity will just mean people need to take home a slightly wet piece of paper but that’s fine).

Please bring some old newspapers with you.

Suitable for ages 6-16

£13 Ticket price includes garden entry. Children must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult throughout the day.
