London’s Oldest Outdoor Classroom

The Garden was first established by the Worshipful Society of Apothecaries of London over three centuries ago in order to grow medicinal plants and train apprentices in their identification and use. To this day education is at the heart of the Garden’s work, we aim to connect people to plants in London’s oldest outdoor classroom, providing an inspirational  and creative experience for children and adults alike.
