FAQs
This year’s Fair will be held on four days, from Thursday 21 to Sunday 24 November. Thursday to Saturday the fair is open from 10 am with the last entry at 4 pm. On Sunday the Fair is open from 10 am with the last entry at 3 pm.
There are a limited number of walk-up tickets available. We cannot guarantee entry without a booked ticket.
There is no parking available at the Garden. The parking surrounding the Garden is operated by the local council and is very limited so we recommend that where possible you arrive via public transport. Details of the best routes can be found on our Getting Here page.
The main entrance to the Fair will be through the Garden’s main entrance on Royal Hospital Road. This is to facilitate visitor flow around the stalls at the fair.
As part of your membership, you are entitled to a free ticket to the Christmas Fair, this does not include a free guest ticket and all guests will need to purchase a ticket.
Yes, the cafe will be open in addition to a selection of stalls selling festive treats.
During the Christmas Fair, we transform the Garden into a festive wonderland. To do this we need to close off most areas of the Garden not being used for the Fair itself.
The Great British weather is always unpredictable but much of the fair will be covered by marquees and gazeebos in the case of rain. We do recommend that you dress warmly and prepare for wet weather.
Please be aware visitors will not be able to bring pushchairs into the Fair and will be required to leave them in a designated area before entering. This is to ensure smooth visitor-flow through the Fair and between stalls. All pushchairs are left at the owner’s risk and we recommend you remove all personal belongings.
Unfortunately there aren’t any luggage or cloakroom facilities at the Garden, so any bags will need to be carried on your person. We kindly ask that you do not bring luggage to the Fair as we have limited capacity in the marquee.
Your ticket will be timed for a specific time and date, and so you are not able to come back to the Fair again. This is to ensure the safety of our visitors and control the number of people in the marquees.
With thanks to Sloane Stanley and Auriens for supporting Chelsea Physic Garden through sponsoring the Fair.
