Celebrate Mother’s Day with Chelsea Physic Garden. For this very special day we are hosting Kokedama making classes for families to join our learning team.

Kokedama is a ball of soil, covered in moss and hung up for decoration. The idea originates from Japanese garden design. We will be planting the balls with seasonal spring flowers, such as pansies.

This workshop is designed children ages 7+ and up. All materials provided.

Booking information:

£25 per person. Children must hold tickets and be accompanied by at least one ticket-holding adult. Each ticket holder will make one kokedama.

Please note:

• This workshop will take place in our Outdoor Classroom space, please dress appropriately for the weather.
• Early booking is strongly recommended as places are limited.
• Please check the time slot you have booked before arriving to the Garden.
• The Garden closes at 5pm. You can arrive before the workshop to enjoy the Garden.
