Seasonal Botanical Sketchbook Workshop: Drawing with Ink
Be inspired by seasonal botanical subjects and learn how to portray them in ink. Using observational drawing from life, you will be guided in all aspects of drawing your chosen subject, from structure through to making it look three dimensional on the paper.
Ink is often used for scientific botanical illustration, but it can also be used for more spontaneous drawing approaches, using both fine line pens and traditional dip pens, both of which will be provided as part of this workshop. Come and enjoy a day of botanical drawing and mark-making, concluding with taking home your own concertina sketchbook.
This workshop is part of our Chelsea Physic Garden’s 350 anniversary year.
