Psychedelic Queer Nature Inspired Printmaking Workshop
As a part of our A Dash of Lavender programme: we welcome you to join us in celebrating LGBTQ+ History Month and our A Brush with Nature theme in a Printmaking Workshop at Chelsea Physic Garden, led by Queer Art Club London.
You’ll start this exciting workshop with a night time wander in London’s oldest botanical Garden this winter and then make your way to the studio to create a selection of plant inspired lino and monoprints.
In this workshop, you will learn how to design and create lino cuts which you can print on to paper or textiles as well as play with Mono-printing using real leaves and plants to create your prints. You will then be able to print your designs onto t-shirts using colourful inks.
This workshop is for LGBTQ+ people and is suitable for those of all levels of experience. All materials and t-shirts will be provided.

Queer Art Club London is an inclusive queer art club founded in 2021 and led by a queer, trans artist and arts facilitator based in Hackney, London. They host workshops for LGBTQ+ people, creating a welcoming space to explore art and community. Through drawing, painting, and illustration, Queer Art Club London celebrates queer joy, pleasure, and intimacy while shedding light on injustices faced by the LGBTQ+ community.
