National Lottery Heritage Fund
The National Lottery Heritage Fund have supported both our Glasshouse Restoration Project and, through the New to Nature programme, an entry level traineeship at Chelsea Physic Garden.
The Cadogan Charity
The Cadogan Charity are long term supporters of Chelsea Physic Garden and are currently helping to secure its future, through contributing to our capital development plans.
John Swire 1989 Charitable Trust
The John Swire 1989 Charitable Trust have provided the Garden with funding to support its community engagement activities. This will help us resource our activities with schools, families, and adult learners, as well as helping us run an internship programme for young people.
The John Armitage Charitable Trust
The John Armitage Charitable Trust are currently supporting research into the Garden’s archives and new interpretation. They have also supported the Glasshouses Restoration Project.
J Paul Getty Jnr Charitable Trust
The J Paul Getty Jnr Charitable Trust have supported various parts of the Garden over the years, including the restoration of the Glasshouses and the planting of the World Woodland Garden.
Finnis Scott Foundation
The Finnis Scott Foundation have supported numerous Horticultural Trainees at Chelsea Physic Garden, including for 2022/23. Their support helps us continue to open up access to horticultural training.
Stanley Smith Horticultural Trust
The Stanley Smith (UK) Horticultural Trust support our new xerophytic bed which will be planted later this year, and previously supported the 2020/21 Horticultural Trainee programme, as well as the redevelopment of some of the Garden’s interpretation in the form of a ‘350 History Trail’.
RUB White Charitable Trust
The RUB White Charitable Trust have been supporting the Garden over the past few years with funding for our Learning and Engagement activities, helping us run outreach programmes across London to engage people with the Garden and nature.
Rick Mather and David Scrase Foundation
The Foundation are funding a horticultural traineeship for 2023/24, providing an amazing opportunity for a budding horticulturalist to learn the skills and expertise needed for a successful career. Through training the next generation, the Foundation is helping us to secure the future of horticulture.
Barbara Whatmore Charitable Trust
The Barbara Whatmore Charitable Trust have supported the Horticultural Trainee programme since 2018, helping us to open up opportunities and access to a career in horticulture.
The Worshipful Company of Ironmongers
The Ironmongers supported the creation of a sculptural rose support, which commemorates Chelsea Physic Garden’s 350-year anniversary.
