Create your very own winter container with garden guru Sharon Hadden. Sharon Hadden is passionate about bringing the art of container gardening to the UK.

For this workshop, we will provide all you need, including a container, to make a festive display. We recommend planning transport home by car, on Sunday’s parking is free along the Royal Hospital Road or you can get a taxi easily from the Garden.

Sharron Hadden:

Sharon moved from the UK to the USA  4 years ago to accompany her husband who works in the lottery industry running the Indiana State Lottery, he has since moved to running the Illinois State Lottery.

Sharon has joined Allisonville Garden and Home  and has taken over the responsibility of managing the Container Garden department focusing on the building of a highly successful and profitable Grab & Go program with consistent year on year profit growth. She is increasingly focused on consultancy engagements advising IGCs on the setting up and smooth running of Grab & Go container departments.

Working with Fox 59 as their Garden Guru on the Good Morning Show and with other presenters covering garden topics, she is also presenting a series of educational lectures at the IGC Show in Chicago amongst her commitments.

She studied horticulture in the UK and ran her own company growing and selling everlasting flowers and herbs. She had the privilege of studying for a diploma in Botanical Art Chelsea Physic Garden in London. Sharon enjoys spending time in Chicago and Indianapolis.
