If a tree falls, does it hear sound? Writing Workshop
As a part of A Dash of Lavender: Celebrating LGBTQ+ history month with Queer Botany, join LiLi K. Bright (they/them ) for a writing workshop.
Explore what it might be to experience your environment from a tree’s perspective, or wildflowers, or fungi.
Write into new imaginings of queer interconnectivity, woven ecologies and intuitive communing.
- Blend fact and fiction
- Sense into different ways of interacting
- Learn about how plants perceive the world
- Imagine yourself embodied in trees.
- What is it to see without eyes, smell without noses, taste without tongues?
- When you touch a tree does it touch you back?
- What drives movement in plants and how?
