As Chelsea Physic Garden celebrates A Brush with Nature: Art in the Garden and the 30th anniversary of its Florilegium Society, this talk offers a unique opportunity to learn about the Society’s work and the art of botanical illustration.

Led by Gillian Barlow, Honorary Keeper of the Florilegium Society Collection, this talk will introduce the history and purpose of the Florilegium Society, which has been documenting the Garden’s plants through painting and drawing since 1995. Discover how its artists capture botanical detail with scientific accuracy and artistic skill, and view selected works from the collection.
