Join us for an immersive and aromatic journey into the world of vanilla! During this Summer’s evening workshop we shall delve into the history, harvesting and the many applications of this prized, voluptuously fragranced pod.

Experience its rich and complex fragrance by sampling a variety of materials and understand its many uses in the cosmetic, culinary and therapeutic realms.

You will also gain hands-on experience in creating two of your very own Vanilla products to take home: a vanilla tincture (for culinary uses) and a vanilla infused oil (for skincare and perfumery).  By the end of the workshop, you’ll not only take home the wonderful products you’ve created but also gain the tips and advice needed to confidently craft your own vanilla-infused creations at home.

Teacher bio:

Tanya Moulding (TIDHA, MIFPA, CNHC)

Tanya is a practising clinical aromatherapist, aromachologist, botanical perfumer and teacher. Outside of her part-time NHS role in Oncology & Palliative care, Tanya creates olfaction and blending workshops, delivers conceptual fragrance ideas and sensory learning activities for special events, museums and public spaces and has taught historical perfumery at many English Heritage sites and local museums.
