Join Letta Jones, Lecturer in Horticulture and Garden History in an introduction to Garden History talk and garden walk at London’s oldest botanic garden, Chelsea Physic Garden.

You will learn about gardeners of the past and the how the botanical naming system was first established within the walls of this amazing garden.

Biography

Letta Jones, MA., is a Lecturer in Horticulture and the History of Gardens. She taught at Capel Manor and Birkbeck Colleges for 15 years and her courses are now offered at the City Lit, Glenthorne Centre, Holehird Gardens and Claridge House. She has been a Lecturer at the Chelsea Physic Garden for 7 years, having been a volunteer gardener and guide there for 18 years. Her overseas Garden History Study tours are open to all, with a trip to Holland being planned for September 3-10 2023, details from
