Living Medicine: Self-Care Basics
This one-day workshop is the first of a five-part course to give you a grounding in looking after yourself using foods and herbs. It will cover the basics of: herbal therapeutics, identifying mint and other plant families, basic food self-care, and remedy making: herb chewing, herbal tea, breakfast smoothie, herb crush.
This award-winning course is for anyone interested in healing plants and foods, health, gardening or working with communities. Led by medical herbalist and author, Alex Laird, the course includes discussion, tasting and identifying healing plants, practical remedy making and assessing your own health and diet. It’s about the pleasure of sharing knowledge, growing, eating, drinking and turning that plant into a simple remedy!
