Snowdrop Kokedama Making Workshop
Restore a little greenery in your home this January at Chelsea Physic Garden and immerse yourself in the ancient Japanese art of Kokedama making.
Kokedama, which translates to ‘moss ball’ in Japanese, are small plants which are encased in a moss-covered ball of soil. There are many ways to display these gorgeous creations, from suspending them the air or sat on decorative trays, the choice is yours!
In this workshop will be creating your own springtime kokedama using seasonal snowdrops. This workshop is designed for adults as well as children aged 5 and over.
All materials will be provided.
Tickets are £25 per person and includes entry to the Garden.
Booking Information:
Children must be aged 5 and over, hold tickets and be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult. Each ticket holder will make one kokedama.
This event will take place in our outdoor workspace and will last approximately an hour. Please dress appropriately for the great British weather.
